Cheryl Lynn Solomine
Of Counsel
Career History
Cheryl has experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in medical malpractice and personal injury cases. Prior to joining the firm, Cheryl worked for a Washington DC trial defense firm, focusing on the defense of individual healthcare providers and hospitals at all stages of litigation. Having defended physicians and numerous medical facilities she has insights most attorneys do not. From that experience, it was clear, that her true calling was to advocate for the unheard and most vulnerable, leading her back to Plaintiffs’ personal injury and medical malpractice.
She began her practice at one of Central Alabama’s preeminent boutique litigation firms. In this role, Cheryl litigated all types of high-exposure personal injury lawsuits, including medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, and wrongful death. Many of the people she represented came from marginalized communities and backgrounds that did not have access to good healthcare or the ability to achieve the best health outcomes. Cheryl obtained in-depth experience on how plaintiffs’ counsel strategize and manage complex litigation.
Drawing upon her diverse background Cheryl is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective legal representation to clients. Cheryl values maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics while pursuing the best outcome possible for her clients. Cheryl has experience as both primary and secondary counsel and has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements in different jurisdictions throughout the country. Cheryl is an active member of numerous organizations both locally and nationally that protect the rights of her clients.

Why did Cheryl join the WVFK&N Team?
“Unexpected and unfortunate things happen to good people. Nothing in this world is more heartening for a parent than to see their child suffer because of irresponsible behavior or medical errors by a medical practitioner/doctor. I am driven by a desire to make a direct impact on families. I am compelled to pursue a path to protect the rights of voiceless, injured children. I am here to make sure my client’s rights are being upheld, and I will fight tooth and nail to make sure of it.”
